A TON OF RICE FOR MOA WHARF KIDS!

HOPE SAKUMA RICE HARVEST UNDERWAY

A chance to catch up with Hope Sakumas' dedicated farmers as we join John and the team busy with the annual rice harvest well underway - since the middle of September - cutting ties of nerica ready to dry in the Sanda Magbolontor sun.

Rice from Hope Sakumas' first four paddies planted back in June is harvested. The nutritious nerica rice, once dried, threshed and milled will make its way to Mama Mayila's Cradle to support Hopes' programmes for vulnerable children.
