CASSAVA CONCLUDES. OR DOES IT?

Another month clearing for cassava and the Hope Sakuma team complete their rainy season project with the cassava farm reaching right down to the rice paddies interplanted with cashew and fruit saplings. Destumping elephant grass and Digging high heaps ready for planting and expertly cutting cassava sticks to propagating size before firmly pressing the freshly cut sticks in the newly dug heaps.

And this is how this nutritious drought-resistant crop is helping rural communities in Karene adapt to climate change and the dangers of droughts.
