BRINGING HOME THE GARI (PAN)

Hope Sakuma farm manager, Ayie, stands proudly under our newly constructed cassava processing hub being kitted out with bamboo tables and benches to keep our cassava nice and clean and our farmers cool and comfortable.

And in rainy season our new structure will double as a top-notch nursery for vegetable seedlings and arboriculture alike.

Amabest collects Hope Sakuma's first gari pan from Mr Obai an artisanal metal-worker of Port Loko, carefully balancing the lengthy pan on his bike to transport to the farm where it will soon see service turning our grated cassava into gari.
