DISASTER STRIKES!

Disaster strikes! A fire on our cassava and cashew farm at the height of dry season. Quick thinking by Amabest finds the Hope Sakuma team beating a fire-break and saving the majority of the farm, averting a far greater disaster.

But all is not lost, thankfully the cassava tubers beneath the earth will still be okay to harvest and hopefully some of the scorched cashew will grow again.

The Regent Chief, Speaker and councillor, Aunty Kay, come to offer their commiserations for our losses and to investigate the fire.
