BOOSTING NUTRITION IN RURAL SIERRA LEONE!

A joyous minute as the Ladies of Hope Sakuma sing on their way to work celebrating their collective endeavours in Sanda Magbolonto Chiefdom.

Here's the Ladies of Hope Sakuma from Manays and Masillah weeding the cassava in the largest cassava farm in Sanda Magbolonto Chiefdom and with new heaped beds being added all the time these Ladies have their work cut out! To make life easier the Ladies are also planting some nutritious potato leaf which will help supress weeds and retain mositure for the cassava.

When this hughly nutricious cassava matures there will be tonnes of cassava to transport - imagine a shiny red tractor with some kind of capacious trailer, now wouldn't that be a thing?

Please share the Ladies sustainable farming story and if you can, help make these substistence farmers dreams a reality by giving to our farming fund raising money towards a shiny red tractor for Hope Sakuma:
