CASSAVA CASSAVA!

You can see cassava sticks being expertly cut to size ready for planting as farm team's from our seven villages dig the first heaps for Hope Sakuma's cassava farm in Sanda Magbolonto Chiefdom.

Our nascent cassava farm is so big - nearly a mile in length - Andrew, our farm manager, had to search far and wide for enough cassava sticks, visiting two other Chiefdoms to obtain the much-prized hybrid disease and drought resistant variety to improve nutrition and food security for these communities.
