CASHEW NUT NEWS!

Intrepid volunteer Osman gets a chance to join the team planting the last batch of cashew nut saplings kindly donated by COOPI - an amazing 600 saplings, planting alongside our cassava to ensure both are weeded and tended well.

This helps Hope Sakuma farmers diversify into a drought-resistant and profitable crop and in three short years, these saplings will begin bearing fruit boosting nutrition locally and improving our farmers livelihoods in Sanda Magbolonto Chiefdom, as well as protecting them from dangerous climate change impacts in the future.
