Andrew shows us 40 bags of cassava sticks freshly obtained from some distance that can now be planted - one minute of footage showing the Ladies of Sakuma in six groups weeding the cassava planted in July (now knee high!) and planting the fresh cassava sticks. In a couple of years this cassava will make highly nutritous gari and foo-foo improving nutrition and boosting these rural women's income and if we can raise money for a small mill the Ladies can make a flour that is as close to wheat flour as you can get!

A joyous 2 minutes as the Ladies of Hope Sakuma sing and gather and sing and weed and sing and dance just for you celebrating their collective endeavours. Hear more songs - maybe one just for you - help the Ladies grow their Sanda Magbolonto Chiefdom farming co-op and share their sustainable story and if you can, please give to the Ladies farming fund:

Please and share our sustainable farming journey empowering rural women with climate-smart technology to improve nutrition, food security, livelihoods and adaptation in Sierra Leone.
