Mama Mayila visits Hopes' maternal and baby health initiative this time distributing baby clothes to newborn babies and mums donated by project partner Heart for Humanity, taking place at the York community health centre.
The young mums warmly greet Mama Mayila ecstatic at receiving new baby clothes. The project recycles unwanted pregnancy packs, free product samples and babies clothing donated in the Netherlands to Heart for Humanity and shipped to the project in Sierra Leone, supporting mums-to-be with baby essentials and meeting the projects goals of encouraging attendance at the clinic and improving vaccination rates.
