A stellar donation of soccer kit hits the sweet spot for the kids who offer enthusiastic thanks to Aunty Haneke and Uncle Ishmail in the Netherlands for their amazing donation before - girls and boys equal on the pitch kitted out in their smart new strips and even smarter socks - they play an inaugural footie match with new balls and lots of fancy footwork!
Like most kids in Sierra Leone the Hope kids are soccer crazy and on a nice sunny day or during rainy season when it's wet, wet, wet girls and boys just love being out on their 5-a-side pitch which is good news for their health, great news for girl empowerment and even better news for the aunties who find it much easier work when the kids are tuckered out after an afternoons' footie!
