WEEK TWELVE - WELL, HAVE YOU EVER!

Well, have you ever seen such gigantic sweet potatoes? The Ladies return for week twelve of Hope Sakuma's farmer field school to reap the benefits of their labour, harvesting these highly nutritious whoppers!

The Ladies make a fantastic job of harvesting the first six beds of our Azolla biochar bocashi fueled, improved Njala variety potatoes and are amazed at their size. And now they know how to grow them we can introduce this new improved high-yielding, high-nutrition variety to Sanda Magbolontor Chiefdom.

Project Coordinator, Amabest sets out the piles from each plant, the number by bed and then by bushel - these being three 50 kilo bushels - so 25 kilo per bed pretty good going guys!
