BIG BANNER NEWS!

We're celebrating our 300th blog with some big banner news - literally some news about a big banner! Uncle Osman and the kids at Mama Mayila's Cradle have been working hard making a great big banner for Hope Sakuma our sustainable farming co-op - well done guys! The kids love doing this because they know a third of the harvest from Hope Sakuma will come to feed them and other vulnerable children in our kinship fostering programme.

Since July 2015 we've been blogging to raise awareness for orphans of the Ebola pandemic and mudslide survivors; campaigning for child protection and girl rights and celebrating the SDGs. You'll find blogs about what life's like in our interim care and kinship fostering programmes for some of the most vulnerable children in some of the most marginalized communities in Sierra Leone and blogs about our sustainable farming co-op empowering rural women to improve nutrition, food security and climate adaptation in Sanda Magbolonto Chiefdom. We're proud that in just the last year more than 1,100 readers took the time to read our small contributions to the betterment of Sierar Leone - thank you!
