Two top-notch Ladies win Sierra Leone humanitarian awards. The dedicated team at SLCU put on a top-notch awards extravaganza at their annual VIP dinner event yesterevening in Dordrecht, the Netherlands and Mama Mayila was overwhelmed to receive an honorary philanthropic and humanitarian award for her work in Sierra Leone suportng vulnerale children orpaned by Ebola or living with a disability and proud to be joined by Uncle Sanders and Aunty Marenka also receiving an honorary award. Aunty Marenkas’ foundation, Heart for Humanity, helps support four orphanages in Salone and disadvantaged kids in our Moa Wharf programme, as well as partnering with Hope to develop a mother and baby initiative while Uncle Sanders builds new schools in Salone for disadvanted children and most recently very kindly tiled Mama Mayila's Cradle!
