PASTORAL INTERLUDE: OUR SECOND BUNDINGS

Hope Sakuma's farmer field school briefly resumes with some top-notch bund construction - the first step to connect our water source to our rice paddy plots intensifying rice production sustainably boosting nutrition and livelihoods in Sanda Magbolontor chiefdom.

Project Coordinator and esteemed Engineer, Amabest shows how to mark out the bunds and irrigation channels and then dig as a team mounding the bund to create an irrigation channel.

Our permanent farmer field school teaches Chiedom villages how to develop their own IVS utilizing Azolla to reduce fertilzer and weeding costs and storing 5 x more planet warming Carbon dioxide per hectare than a hectare of forest.
