90 KM ROAD RACE CELEBRATING WORLD CYCLING DAY IN SIERRA LEONE

30 seconds of cycling action with Lunsar Cycling team braving the elements yesterday to celebrate World Cycling Day with a 90 km road race! Congratulations to Deborah Conteh winning the sprint and Ibrahim Jalloh (jn white) wins the killer sprint. Lunsar Cycling team are taking cycling to Karene in a big way, winning silver in a recent Freetown race under the expert leadership of CEO Stylish Abdul Karim Kamara.

The team also deliver a fantastic village bicycle project empowering women and youth teaching maintenance and how to cycle safely and once they can cycle 5 km women get a certificate and a free bike donated by an international NGO. And by happy coincidence Secretary-General of Lunsar Cycling is our very own Amara Sesay, engineer overseeing the development of our Hope Sakuma IVS demonstration farm!

If you'd like to help empower rural women and youth by donating a bike or supporting Lunsar Cycling's activities please contact the team via facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LunsarCycling/
