MINISTRY SPOT CHECK CARE QUALITY!

The Hope interim care team were happy to welcome Madam Lois Simche Lebbie, Residential Care Asssessment Officer from the Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children's Affairs. On an extended spot check Madam Lebbie took the time to speak to all the children in private after school declaring herself "quite impressed" with the care the children receive!

We're always happy to welcome spot checks from the Ministry or Freetown City Council they're essential to raise standards in the interim care sector and it's a great way for us to show independently that we deliver consistently good care - whether it's the standard of the centres' cleanliness or how well our care-givers look after the kids - and these visits always give a great boost to team morale!

We're so proud of our team of volunteers, working hard every day caring for orphans of deadly Ebola, children with disabilities and other vulnerable children entrusted to our care by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children's Affairs.

COME ON BOARD - FOLLOW OUR JOURNEY!

Follow our journey supporting and protecting vulnerable children in Sierra Leone - please and share to raise awareness for Ebola’s Generation.
