AN EMOTIONAL MOMENT AT BLESSED MOKABA

Quite by chance, while visiting the Blessed Mokaba Community Hospital, Mama Mayilah bumped into a very old and dear friend, Haja Kadie, now admitted to the hospital suffering a suspected stroke. Old friends and campaigners back in the day on women and children's rights, these ladies were both overcome with emotion - the last time they had seen each other was during the civil war when ladies who championed children and womens rights were persecuted for their efforts. Now reunited after so many years Mama Mayila vowed to keep in regular touch with her old friend.
