Ebola's Generation Celebrate African Child Day

Day of the African Child being celebrated by the kids from Mama Mayila's Cradle with traditional drumming, dancing and story-telling.

Todays focus is on child protection, child empowerment and equal opourtnities for children. Our focus is on protecting children from harmful practices like early marriage and cutting or FGM (female genital mutilation), while also protecting children from the dangerous impacts of climate change; empowering children through education and giving understanding and the extra help to some children, like those who lost their parents to deadly Ebola or who live with a disability, to attain equality of opourtunity .
