A SHADY SPOT TO STAY

With Hope Sakuma's first azolla fish pond taking shape nicely the Makelekos All-Stars set too clearing an adjacent shady spot for Hope Sakuma's next project, our first traditional-build hut!

As well as providing future accommodation for our farmer field school the hut will be somewhere someone can keep an eye 24/7 to the fish and ducks when they transfer, as well as daily stirring of the Azolla Bocashi pit! Makelekos Ladies are making short work plastering our Azolla fish pond with a clay and cow dung mix to prevent water loss and provide nutrition for the Azolla and Red Nile Tilapia, also known as Saint Peter's fish because of their ability to quickly feed multitudes!
