Nervousnous on the eve of opening Hope's Sweetie-Sweet Rice. But some new tables and a new wall covering fashioned by Uncle Mo overnight, as well as lots of local enquiries as to when we open gives us some confidence for tomorrow knowing we've done our best.
The kids have also got the cookery bug with the doors of Hope's Sweetie-Sweet Rice opening tomorrow and they're having a practice run! Aunty Isata's gathered the key ingredients - some dry rice, cassava stalk and a chicken bone - and the kids set too cooking with Sid on pasta and Little Miss Destiny getting a helping hand from Alex preparing the plassas.
With 500 leones a plate coming direct to Mama Mayila's Cradle the kids have got good reason to be so cheerful!
