Here you can see the children from the National School for the Deaf marching to the brass bands exuberant rendition of Beatles favourite, Obla Di Obla Da, down Siaka Stevens Street to Victoria Park in their Thanksgiving Parade, led by esteemed principal Ms. Winifred Kamara. The children were marching on the first day of Deaf Awareness Week 2017 for the deaf communities right to skills and social inclusivity.

Watch closely and about 30 seconds in you can see Noah marching with Uncle Mohammed and opposite, Katie doing a very quick march indeed!

This year the school need a new bus to transport children from all over Freetown to and from school every day. Please help them by donating now:

If you donate to the National School for the Deaf new bus we'll pass on (publically) your donation to our good friend and school principal Ms. Winifred Kamara.
