GROUNDNUT GALORE!


Hope Sakuma Farm Manager Andrew explains how many tarpaulin will be needed for the groundnut harvest taking place in six villages in Sanda Magbolonto Chiefdom, empowering rural women to improve nutrition and food security.

Osman shows us the Manays groundnut farm - this site last year gave us enough groundnut to expand our co-op to six neighbouring communities each planting 6 bushels of groundnut!

The boys from ro Rainte and Ro Yeima show us their combined groundnut farm one of six planting groundnut to improve nutrition, livelihoods and food security.

Here you are introduced to the Masillah groundnut farm. Amazingly all these lands in seven villages are ploughed and turned by hand, planted by hand, weeded by hand and harvested by hand!
