As you can see our kids take their civic responsibilities very seriously and with Uncle Williams leading the way, cleaning up outside Mama Mayila's Cradle and helping our neighbours on National Cleaning Day - held on the first Saturday of every month - when the whole of Sierra Leone reclaims our streets and communities from the litter and dirty that hitherto just piled up.
The kids enjoyed(!) it so much they gave Mama Mayila's Cradle a very thorough scrubbing with new brushes for the occasion! And our gutters recently repaired will be clean and free flowing in time for the full force of rainy season juts like the mayor's gutters in Freetown!
