DEAF SCHOOL'S CHRISTMAS CAROL CONCERT

Hope were priviledged to attend the National School for the Deaf's first ever carol service mc'd by the esteemed principal Mrs Kamara-Cole and her team of dedicated teachers. Ram-packed with parents and well-wishers and bedecked with garlands and decorations made by the kids themselves a very festive atmosphere was created despite the 31 degree heat!

Between the nine carols, Readings were signed by the children and there was a really great nativity play - the 3 wise men had their wise man walk down pat!

We have two kids at the school - little Noah at Mama Mayila's Cradle and Katie from Moa Wharf - and it was good to meet some of their friends and watch them interact - these kids are so expressive when they sign and it's great to see hearing-impaired kids thriving in Sierra Leone.
