IN SEARCH OF THE SAKUMA

The two brothers Bangura behind our sustainable farming co-op, Hope Sakuma, go in search of the eponymous river Sakuma. For the brothers it's an emotional return to their fathers village 20 years in the waiting, meeting family and friends not seen since their childhood. They find the Sakuma, a pretty little river threading its way through the beautiful unpoilt countryside of Sanda Magbolonto Chiefdom.
