Uncle Bradley, Aunty Michaela, Aunty Salamata and Aunty Josephine, good friends of Uncle Williams, pay a visit to Mama Mayila's Cradle to spend some time with the kids. Most generously they bring an amazingly gift of 7 x 25kg bags of rice, laundry soap, toothbrushes and scrubbing brushes. With the price of basic items rising by around 30% over the past few months in Sierra Leone this is a most welcome donation indeed - thank you guys!
As Hope Sakuma Farm Coordinator Andrew demonstrates really rather well! The sticks planted late last month looking fresh and well-tended, while fresh heaps of rich fertile Sanda Magbolonto earth are being dug daily as the cassava farm takes shape. FOLLOW OUR JOURNEY! Please ❤ and share our sustainable farming journey empowering rural women with climate-smart technology to improve nutrition, food security, livelihoods and adaptation in Sierra Leone.

Intrepid volunteer Osman gets a chance to join the team planting the last batch of cashew nut saplings kindly donated by COOPI - an amazing 600 saplings, planting alongside our cassava to ensure both are weeded and tended well.
