OFF T'MILL AND FREETOWN BOUND

Skillfully sifting seed separating stones and chaff the Ladies resume winnowing duties with traditional sieves before parboiling in a drum to boost the grains' nutrition; drying once more in the Sanda sun. And then it's off t'mill with Hope Sakuma's bounty! With harvesting continuing in our paddies this rice can't come soon enough to supply our feeding programmes with Freetown prices skyrocketing to 550,000 le from 360,000 le in just 3 months.
