GLORIOUS GROUNDNUT

The Hope Sakuma team begin their grand groundnut harvest, carrying the nutritious staple back to the farmyard to dry ready to store and replant and what plump groundnut they are too!

Gathering armfuls of groundnut plants the team sit under the shade of a tree to pluck the plump tubers from their roots collecting the nutritious bounty in bowls.

Carried back to the farm the nuts are left to fry in the Sanda sun ready to store for the next planting season.
