By the trampling of the Fulanese foot another fine batch of daub for Hope Sakuma's traditional hut is made mixing the long-horn cow dung collected by Amabest and Hassan with a little sand and freshly hewn clay, trampling together by Fulanese foot until smooth and lump free!
This fine batch destined to provide a sturdy floor and damp course for our artisan accomodation. This traditional daub mix makes for a long-lasting weather proof home with the additional benefit of providing built in mosquito repellant!
Our marvellously skilled Fulanese lady plasterers set to work daubing the floor to give a smooth hard finish working their way methodically to the door.
Then our skilled artisans move to the exterior providing a damp course to keep the home dry during rainy season.
