An absolutely awesome welcome from the ladies of Moa Wharf to Mama Mayila, Uncle Williams and the Hope team for our fourth annual give-away of school bags and essential school kit for 32 children orphaned by Ebola or living with a disability.
And for the second year running all made possible thanks to Team Canada collecting kind donations to buy school rucksacks and the essential kit to fll them - exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers and rulers.
Even though public school is now free in Sierra Leone, parents and care-givers in our kinship fostering programme still have to find transport and lunch money so kitting out the kids for school is a real help and always welome - thank you Unlce Dan, Aunty Megan and Team Canada!
