6: COOKERY UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Six days to go until our new cookery opens and the space is really taking shape with team are making great progress installing corrugated panels to the new roof frame; adding a frame constructed to the rear for the kitchen and fixing a nice secure back door where previously the alleyway stood!

The kids are tasked with coming up with a name and tagline for the cafe and we think we've got more than a couple of unique selling points for our social purpose cafe, including a share of the profits to support our interim care and kinship fostering programmes, food traceable back to the Farm and some practical expressions of our guiding concept of "fair value."
