From the Freetown streets of the capital to the rural idyll Sanda Magbolontor Chiefdom by way of Dovecot these four steel drums are making their way to aid parboiling 60 x 50 kilo bushels of nutritous Hope Sakuma country rice. No-one in Sanda Magbolontor has yet attempted to par-boil this much rice in such a short space of time and we heard from Grandma's recent trip that the Ladies of Hope Sakuma need some help! It's a dry run for later this year when we hope there's going to be somewhat more than 60 bushels...
