This is proof of our belief that the real contribution in this and indeed, in any project, is made by its people, its human capital, in this case working hand in hand with our natural capital, preserving trees and our bio-diversity and farming only previously farmed land in the beautiful unspoilt countryside of Sanda Magbolonto Chiefdom. These guys deserve a big hand all round!
Now, imagine what the Ladies and gentlemen of Manays could do if we only had a tractor…
PASSING THE BATON ON
Following up on last month's AGM Mama Mayila congratulates chairman, Obaki for his good work and best efforts last year but explains that for the co-op to go further younger people need to be given a chance to lead the teams.
To much applause Mama Mayila suggests cementing our partnership with Andrew to work together in a new executive board to spread the word and find local opportunities to expand in Sanda Magbolonto Chiefdom.
NE'RE CAST A CLOUT...
...'til May be out" is an old English saying, warning to keep winter clothes handy until summer arrives and with rainy season coming these thick jumpers, jackets and trousers will certainly come in handy and are warmly welcomed by the farmers - with thanks for the kindly donation by LETS Ruilwinkel thrift store in the Netherlands, and delivered by Mama Mayila.
