Meet some of our children, orphaned by deadly Ebola and living in Moa Wharf, a slum community in Sierra Leone devasted by Ebola. These first pictures taken back in July and August are hard to see, some kids eyes avoiding the camera, understandable for its intrusion; other eyes betraying how sad and bereft these children are. These kids bear so much, having seen things and endured things no child should ever have to.
The team have been spending the summer investigating backgrounds and linking children up with other family members, aunties, uncles and grand-parents and we now have 62 in our programme; all children now registered with the Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children's Affairs.
